Eddie Bass Marketing Director

Eddie has been playing golf for nearly his entire life. As a child, he learned the game caddying for his father. He grew up playing Bethpage Black and the other classic golf courses around Metropolitan New York. He became a top high school player on Long Island, and was a member of the University of Florida golf team. In the late 70's, Eddie took control of his family's manufacturing business and helped guide it through tremendous expansion; the company became the leader in its industry

In the mid 80's he began to play the game seriously again, competing in many high level amateur and professional tournaments. He has won multiple club championships, two prestigious Met area team events, and qualified for the 1998 U.S. Amateur at Oak Hill and the 2005 U.S. Senior Open at NCR.

Over the past 30 years, Eddie has been on countless golf trips throughout the U.S. and in nine countries around the world. This experience has enabled him to become an unofficial expert in the art of creating a wonderful, exciting and fun filled golf vacation. Eddie and his family relocated to Sarasota, Florida in November of 2004. He began competing in Florida State Golf Assoc. tournaments and was selected to compete in the Florida Cup matches. Playing and practicing at the Legacy course at Lakewood Ranch, Eddie met Jeff Boudrie and a friendship quickly formed based on their mutual respect and interest in the multiple facets of golf. Impressed with Jeff's ability and expertise in teaching and club fitting, Eddie arranged for them to travel with their launch monitor to famed Winged Foot in New York and test the ball speed, launch angle and spin ratio for nearly 300 golfers all in one day. It was on this trip that the concept which developed into the Be Squared Golf Experience originated.

The blend of two different perspectives, one of a professional golfer and the other from a high level amateur gives Be Squared a unique ability to reach the golfing "soul" of our clients.

Jeff is not your ordinary golf professional. He has over 10 years of experience teaching golf, but his many other talents set him apart. Jeff attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids Michigan on a combined Golf and Basketball Scholarship. While winning multiple tournaments and enjoying successful careers in both sports, it was there that he discovered his passion for teaching and coaching. He graduated with honors, majoring in Business Administration along with an Athletic Education minor. He then went on to acquire a Masters Degree in Sports Marketing from Georgia State University.

Jeff's efforts to play golf professionally gained him tremendous respect from his playing competitors. Though his mini-tour career did not land him on the PGA Tour, the insights and experiences he gained have helped mold his understanding of what it takes to maximize a player's talent level. He also worked and taught under the guidance of some of the country's great golf instructors in Atlanta, Georgia.

After leaving Atlanta to work in the Titleist Custom Fitting Department, Jeff is now considered one of the nation's top club fitting experts. In 2003, he started his own business, Golf Advantage, Inc. He quickly gained the reputation as a top instructor in the state of Florida and is also renowned as the most accurate and reliable club fitter anywhere.
